Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: See How India Is Developing

India is a multicultural country where the winds of diversity flow from east to west and from north to south. In the long span of 75 years of independence, many important changes have taken place in culture. All these changes are a testimony to our self-reliance. Startups are creating a new culture of technology, innovation, investment, and self-reliance. Bollywood has become global in the field of entertainment. Gradually the urban imprint on the rural lifestyle is getting deeper. Today we will talk about some achievements of India in the time of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The startup started anew.

  • More than half of the population in India is the young generation. According to the information received, in the last 7 years, youth have started a new employment culture in the form of startups.
  • According to media news, our country India has become the third-largest ecosystem in the world in startups. There are more than 60,000 startups in more than 634 districts.
  • Startups in India are associated with 55 types of industrial sectors. Fourteen per cent of startups are working in the IT sector, 9 in health care, seven in education, 4 in the catering and agriculture sector.
  • There are 80 unicorns in India, of which more than 50% were made in 2021. Their total value is more than $ 82 billion. The result of this new employment culture is that the unicorns in the country are valued at over $260 billion. Now one in 10 unicorns of the world are made in India.
  • This boom of startups is the growing number of smartphone users and the growing trend of digital business models in the fast-growing digital payment system in India.
  • Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai are the unicorn hubs of the country, but startup scripts are now being written in smaller cities as well.
  • Now startups are also building into new gaming, content, data management and analytics, and cryptocurrency exchanges. Zomato, Paytm, Nayak, and Policy Bazaar have also developed IPOs in the stock market.

World of entertainment.

Movies and television have become important means of entertainment in India. The 1982 New Delhi Asian Games made black and white TV reach door-to-door. Now there is a system to watch hundreds of channels on Smart TV.

OTT platforms have given a new medium to the culture of entertainment in the country. If foreign companies saw a big market in India, Netflix and Amazon Prime also came here.

Cameras have become digital and lighter. With state-of-the-art sound recording, a musician sitting in India can record his voice in the sounds of foreign countries. The journey of Indian films, which started in 1913, has now reached the making of more than 16 hundred films in the country every year.

Most movies are watched in India. According to the report received, in the year 2011, more than 3.5 billion tickets were sold across the country.

Indian cinema became a global industry with Hollywood and Chinese films. According to our information, the Indian film industry earns about Rs 14000 crores every year. There is a demand for Indian films in more than 90 countries.

Aamir Khan's Dangal became an international blockbuster film earning more than 2000 crores worldwide.

The influence of Indian films is also being seen in western films. For example, Baz Luhrmann acknowledges the influence of Bollywood film music on his musical film Moulin Rouge.

Internet culture.

Internet was introduced in India on 15th August 1995, and in just 27 years, it has become an integral part of the lifestyle. Gradually cyber cafes and internet cafes also opened, and now internet facility is available on every mobile.

Today more than 62 crore people all over India have internet facilities. Another reason is that India's internet is much cheaper than many other countries.
